Terms

The agreement, written to be read.

These terms explain the simple agreement between you and FaithBreak when you use our app and website. We’ve tried to keep them honest and free of traps.

Last updated: June 4, 2026

Agreeing to these terms

By using FaithBreak, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don’t agree, that’s okay, but please don’t use the app. If you’re using FaithBreak on behalf of someone else, you confirm you’re allowed to accept these terms for them.

What FaithBreak is, and isn’t

FaithBreak is a faith-based companion for the slow work of beginning again. It offers daily readings, check-ins, and a quiet place to mark your progress.

FaithBreak is not a medical, clinical, or crisis service. It does not diagnose, treat, or replace professional care. If you are in crisis or need medical or mental-health support, please contact a qualified professional or a local crisis line.

Using the app responsibly

We ask a few simple things of everyone who uses FaithBreak:

  • Use the app for its intended purpose, your own honest journey.
  • Don’t misuse, disrupt, or attempt to break the service or its security.
  • Don’t use FaithBreak to harm, harass, or impersonate others.
  • Follow any community guidelines we provide where community features exist.

Your account

You can begin without an account. If you create one, you’re responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity that happens under it. Let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

Your content

Your reflections and notes belong to you. By using the app, you grant us only the limited permission needed to store and display your content back to you and to operate the service. We don’t claim ownership of your words, and we don’t use them to advertise to you.

Payments, if any

FaithBreak is free to start, and the core daily rhythm stays free. If we offer paid features, we’ll show the price and terms clearly before you pay, and purchases made through an app store are also subject to that store’s rules. Any optional offer will be exactly that: optional.

Intellectual property

FaithBreak’s name, logo, design, and original content are ours or our licensors’, and are protected by law. You’re welcome to use the app as intended, but please don’t copy, resell, or misrepresent it as your own.

Ending things

You can stop using FaithBreak and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are seriously or repeatedly broken, or if we must do so for legal or safety reasons. We’ll act fairly and, where we reasonably can, give you notice.

Disclaimers

We work hard to make FaithBreak helpful and reliable, but it’s provided “as is.” To the extent the law allows, we don’t make guarantees that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suited to every personal circumstance. Your spiritual and recovery journey is your own, supported but never directed by the app.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FaithBreak isn’t liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights that can’t be limited under the law that applies to you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app grows. If we make meaningful changes, we’ll update the date above and let you know in the app or by email. Continuing to use FaithBreak after a change means you accept the updated terms.
